Body of Nawa Kadal woman recovered from Jhelum in Ganderbal | KNO

An official said that body of Rubeena Akhtar (45), wife of Bilal Ahmad Bhat of Nawa Kadal Srinagar was recovered from the river in Kharbagh Batwina in Wakura tehsil of the district.

Police on Thursday recovered the body of a middle-aged woman from Jhelum river in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official said that body of Rubeena Akhtar (45), wife of Bilal Ahmad Bhat of Nawa Kadal Srinagar was recovered from the river in Kharbagh Batwina in Wakura tehsil of the district.


The body has been kept at Police Station Shadipora Ganderbal.

Police have taken up the investigation, he said.
